This is one I’m especially proud of. I love working with clients in the senior living sector and my partnership with Kisco Senior Living is a strong example of what thoughtful senior living content development can look like when it’s done with care.
Building a Learning Center Families Can Trust
Over the past six months, I’ve worked closely with Kisco to write articles for a new digital Learning Center on their redesigned website. The goal was to create genuinely helpful, easy-to-navigate content for seniors and families who are researching senior living, which is almost always a stressful and emotional time.
Kisco’s brand is warm and optimistic, but it’s also grounded in decades of experience. The Learning Center needed to reflect both: approachable and reassuring, while clearly positioning Kisco as a thoughtful, credible leader in senior living.
Educational Content Without the Sales Pitch
As part of this senior living content development effort, I’ve written more than thirty in-depth articles on topics families actively search for, including What Is Assisted Living?, How to Pay for Senior Living Using Social Security, and How Senior Living Communities Stay Connected With Families.
The site launched last month, and I’m incredibly proud of the final result. Kisco has since asked me to continue developing new content for the foreseeable future. This is an ongoing partnership I value deeply.
Informed by Professional Experience and Personal Perspective
My approach to senior living content development is shaped by both professional and personal experience. I’ve served as a marketing leader for senior living communities, and I’ve also been on the other side of the decision—as a family member navigating the confusing, overwhelming process of finding the right community for my own father.
That lived experience influences every piece I write.
Writing for the Moment Families Are In
When families arrive at a Learning Center, they’re often carrying uncertainty, pressure, and emotional weight. In my senior living content development work, I focus on meeting families where they are. I try to anticipate their questions, acknowledge their concerns, and help them move forward with more confidence and less fear.
Grounded in Brand, Guided by Philosophy
At the same time, every article must stay grounded in Kisco’s brand voice and their Live Looking Forward philosophy. The work has to be both informative and intentional. We want Kisco’s digital Learning Center to be a trusted resource that reflects Kisco’s commitment to residents, families, and thoughtful, resident-focused care.
Client Perspective
Here’s how Branden Laske from Kisco captured our partnership and its impact:
Pam brings a strong knowledge base of the senior living market and an empathetic understanding of how families evaluate their options. She consistently delivers clear, educational content that helps seniors and families navigate complicated and emotion-driven decisions with confidence.
At the same time, she grounds every piece in Kisco’s brand voice and Live Looking Forward philosophy. Her content strengthens our digital Learning Center and reinforces Kisco’s position as a trusted, resident-focused leader in senior living.
