Crafting Stories That Elevate Mission-Driven Brands
Hello! My name is Pam Georgiana. I’m a brand strategist and marketing writer located in Columbus, Ohio or Hollywood, Florida (depending on the season!)
I specialize in:
Brand Identity Discovery and Ideation
Strategic Marketing Planning and Campaign Creation
Brand and Marketing Content Creation

My journey into the world of branding and marketing began in a cozy suburban coffeehouse I opened in the late ’90s. Picture Central Perk from Friends, before that was a thing. It had comfy couches, board games, huge ceramic coffee cups and a lot of character. What I didn’t realize at the time was that I wasn’t just brewing coffee.
I was building a brand.
Every decision, from the freshly roasted coffee beans sourced from a local roaster to the weekly open mic nights, was about creating an experience that felt authentic and personal. That’s where I first experienced the power of storytelling and community in action.
Passion for storytelling ignited
The coffeehouse did not last (we were ahead of our time) but that experience ignited my passion for using storytelling to authentically connect brands to their audience. Every position I’ve had since then has taught me more about how words connect us, and stories remind us of our shared humanity.
I’ve spent over two decades helping organizations discover and share their own brand stories, strategically, consistently, and with purpose, first in large retail companies and then in nonprofits and B2B service providers. My background in experiential marketing, marketing leadership, and content strategy gives me a unique ability to align big-picture brand goals with everyday outreach efforts that inspire action.
Great marketing begins with authentic stories
Whether I’m leading a nonprofit through a full rebrand, crafting a donor or customer engagement content marketing strategy, or ghostwriting a thought leadership piece for a founder, my approach is rooted in mission, authenticity, and clarity.
Today, I partner with organizations that want to make a deeper impact.
They understand that merely connecting with a donor or volunteer is not enough to drive long-term change. They’re ready to engage more deeply with the people they serve and the supporters who make their work possible through empathetic and authentic brand storytelling and content marketing.
If this sounds like you, we should talk!
The Power of Why
Discovering and communicating your organization’s “Why” allows you to build long-term and fulfilling relationships with donors, funders, volunteers, and other stakeholders who relate to your cause.
My “Why” is simple: to make the world a better place by connecting us through stories. My chihuahua, Grandon, might argue that my “Why” is taking care of him, and he’s not entirely wrong–he definitely runs the household! When I’m not writing, scouring estate sales for vintage and antique kids books, or reading historical fiction, you can find us enjoying walks in the park or around our neighborhood.
My favorite books on branding, storytelling, marketing, and business.
- Start with Why by Simon Sinek
- Setting the Table by Danny Meyer
- The Power of Moments by Chip and Dan Heath
- Everybody Writes by Ann Handley
- Drive by Daniel Pink
- Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook by Gary Vaynerchuk
